Sunshine makes us happy! In winter, anyone stuck on the Central Plateau, at Lake Constance, or elsewhere in the fog can only wish to live in Disentis: We have sun instead of fog, and a lot of the time it’s not as cold.
The southern weather coming along the Lukmanier Pass gives Disentis lots of sunshine and a mild local climate, which at 1,200 meters above sea level produces many different fruits in the summer.
